The two plans below show the site of Marlow Regional Airport in 1985 and after its redevelopment in 2020. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
In 1985
- A single short runway running east to west
- One small terminal building beside the runway
- An open grass field to the north of the runway
- A car park for around 50 cars next to the terminal
- Farmland surrounding the whole site
In 2020
- The old runway lengthened and a second parallel runway added
- A large modern terminal replacing the small one
- The grass field turned into aircraft parking stands
- A multi-storey car park in place of the open car park
- A rail link and hotel built on the former farmland
