Decide whether the statement is True, False, or Not Given.

Octopuses are widely regarded as among the most intelligent invertebrates. They can open jars, navigate mazes, and use coconut shells as portable shelters. Unusually, much of an octopus's nervous system is distributed through its arms rather than concentrated in a central brain, allowing each arm a degree of independent control. Despite these abilities, octopuses are short-lived, with most species surviving only one to two years. After a female lays her eggs, she stops eating and guards them until they hatch, typically dying soon afterwards. Scientists continue to debate how such complex behaviour evolved in animals with such brief lifespans.

An octopus's nervous system is concentrated entirely in a single central brain.
