When Theo inherited his grandmother's apartment, he found drawers full of handwritten recipe cards, many stained and barely legible. Rather than letting them fade, he spent his weekends transcribing each one into a shared online document and inviting relatives to add their own notes. Cousins he rarely spoke to began commenting on which dishes they remembered from holidays. Within a year, the collection had grown beyond his grandmother's recipes to include family stories attached to each meal. Theo says he started the project to preserve food, but what he actually saved was a record of how the family had eaten, argued, and celebrated together.
